SANSOVINO6 this season has proposed a precise and thoughtful capsule collection of creatively knitted essentials. The
collection is based on ten distinct shapes and three themes that are carefully translated using diverse yarns and gauges.
Cashmere yarns become the luxe centerpiece for this season. We have studied different gauges, wash processes, finishes,
and combinations of cashmere that are respectful of the precious history of the yarn, as well as, utilizing technology to move
the conversation forward. We have interpreted a classic pullover, a lofty coat, a cardigan, a dickie accessory, and a poncho.


Thai Bernardes

Thais spent her childhood surrounded by the colours and beauty of natural stones.
Brazilian, born and raised in Minas Gerais, the largest producer of natural precious stones among the states of Brazil. Since childhood, she has learnt to appreciate and love the variety, nuances, materials and richness of precious stones. Together with nature, the warmth of the people, the vastness of the breathtaking landscapes, which are part of her heritage, until the moment she left Brazil to see the world as a professional model.

For this reason, at the same time as her modelling career, she completed studies in Gemology and Jewelry Design and also obtained a Master’s degree in Fashion Brand Management in Milan. All her experience and knowledge, together with her love for coloured stones, led Thais to found the brand that bears her name in 2015. THAIS BERNARDES jewellery has a unique design, made of precious materials and natural stones, where Italian craftsmanship combined with the inspiration of Brazilian nature creates inimitable objects.

Each of her collections encapsulates a deep-rooted meaning, which Thais also wants to transfer to the world through her fine jewellery.

An example of this is the feather, which we also find in the brand’s logo. „When I was still a child, my grandmother gave me a blue feather to hang around my neck as a lucky talisman. This feather was a symbol of freedom and courage for the indigenous peoples of the Amazon. From that day on, I realised that I had to spread this neglected culture and I realised how important it is to hand down traditions and symbols from generation to generation to prevent them from dissipating with time, especially now that we are living in an overly fast-paced world“.


T_Coat

The brand declares its mission reinterpreting the shirt-jacket: a modern genderless icon in the making. An approach that spaces from female to male remaining interchangeable and always consistent through styles and materials. Garments without frills, with fast shapes, high-quality fabrics and precious finishes.

T_COAT is the new genderless collection whose iconic and most representative item is the „shirt-jacket“. Taken on loan from the men’s wardrobe, the shirt-jacket has become a must-have item on behalf of the most fashion-conscious and fashion-addicted women. Massimiliano Legerenzi explains that the T_COAT collection is made from high-quality Italian fabrics such as combed wool, tweed, tartan embellished with internal and external detailing through meticulous, handmade details making each fashion item unique. The shirt-jacket is developed in various lengths and linings making it appropriate during all months throughout the year. The genderless factor is the prime novelty in T_COAT, since all the items are sellable, not only in women’s sizes but also in menswear.

 


MAISON FLANEUR WOMEN

MAISON FLANEUR is inspired by the French poet Charles Baudelaire’s concept “Flâneur” which means saunter in French which he also was inspired by the American writer Edgar Allan Poe’s short story “The Man of the Crowd”.

Creative products. The quality of the basic items strongly reflects the personality of wearer. It never fades out. Handed down from one generation to the next. As the products ages or as you wearing it reflects your personality and the past time you spend wearing it. Wherever you are in the world, either in an urban city or in a rural town, whoever looks for creativity and quality, the “Flâneur” has always given identity to the wearer. The witty dedication to details are a must for the revels who don’t like to look like every one else.

All the products of MAISON FLANEUR are made in a province of Veneto, Italy. Vineyards surround the workshop. It is a low-volume production because of the skillful craftsmen make with a rare and vintage hand knitting machine with the handed down method. We are producing an innovative technique with the skilled and old method. Seamless knitting is a one of them. This seamless knit provides top comfort with the natural elasticity. Colour and print, creativity and Italian savoir faire are Mantero 1902’s contemporary story. The design motifs in each collection are chosen from our immense archive, which is a source of inspiration for a new story and reinterpreted to provide an ever-changing twist. Unexpected mixes of prints and chromatic effects are combined with valuable materials and linear designs with a touch of femininity. All products are printed and manufactured in-house in Como, and are made with creativity, exclusivity and manufacturing excellence.


Tela


The brand name TELA originates from the fabric weaving terminology, where TELA (in Italian) stands for a simple fabric construction, which though simple implies a texture. TELA in the Italian language is a feminine noun and femininity is also the brand mission: feminine and minimal at first sight, yet informed by a careful research.

A plain woven fabric, a TELA, is the same front and back: it has always the same aspect, it shows itself as it is and it makes you think of a genuine product, which originates from good taste rather than being thought – thru and conceptual.

TELA in Italian means also the painting canvas, and as such offers itself to the revelation and expression of a mood, of a feeling, of an art.

In the tailors’ jargon the word TELA is used to mean the first prototype, by which you get a first impression of what the final garment may look like. The concept of TELA carries intrinsically an idea of versatility, being a material which can be, dyed, printed, washed, ripped, ironed etc…

TELA is also equivalent to a new project, as a first concept to a book writer, as the white canvas could be for a painter. All this does not imply that the project is anonymous or generic, quite the opposite, it expresses its potentiality.
